The Sustainable Development Foundatione is member of UN Global Compact, organizational stakeholder of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and member of ISWA (International solid waste association). It has taken part of working groups at the European Environment Agency (EEA) and represented Italy in CEN (European Committee for Standardization) working groups.

The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) is a network-based organization that pioneered the world's most widely used sustainability reporting framework. GRI is committed to the Framework's continuous improvement and application worldwide. GRI's core goals include the mainstreaming of disclosure on environmental, social and governance performance. GRI's Reporting Framework is developed through a consensus-seeking, multi-stakeholder process. Participants are drawn from global business, civil society, labor, academic and professional institutions.
ISWA, "The International Solid Waste Association", is an international, independent and non-profit making association, working in the public interest to promote and develop sustainable waste management worldwide. ISWA has members around the world and is the only worldwide association promoting sustainable and professional waste management. The Association is open to individuals and organizations from the scientific community, public institutions and public and private companies from all over the world working in the field of and interested in waste management.
